Ask the residents of La Crosse why they love it here.  This is their reply: "the beauty and everyone is so friendly".  Most residents consider La Crosse, WI "God's Country".  Once you visit La Crosse, you will see why.  La Crosse is majestic where three rivers meet: the Mighty Mississippi River, La Crosse River, and the Black River.  Mix these rivers with the beauty of the bluffs and it is truly God's Country!

Many residents who have grown up here, then moved away will come back to make this their permanent home.  Even those that have come here for school or work will try to stay.  It is hard to explain unless you have been here, so I hope that you can come and visit us and see what La Crosse and the surrounding communities have to offer that make the Coulee Region a special place to call home or a fun place to visit!
